Due to supply chain issues with our paddle board distributor cause by tariffs implemented by the White House , we will not be able to run public eco-tours nor be able to start our rental program for the 2025 season.
Due to supply chain issues with our paddle board distributor cause by tariffs implemented by the White House , we will not be able to run public eco-tours nor be able to start our rental program for the 2025 season.
We will be holding limited mini sessions / by the hour SUP days on the South River in Waynesboro about once a month as long as we have suitable water levels. We will still be accepting private bookings/lessons on a case by case bases since we do have a couple boards held over from last season, just not enough to operate full group tours.
We're terribly sorry for this bad news and hope everyone understands the situation is out of SUP board brand partner, HALA and SUP Shen's hands. These pointless tariff and trade wars have a trickle down affect that is harming small businesses that do business with each other. I do this part-time to share and promote the sport of SUP and educate paddle sport safety in our area so it's not taking away revenue I need to pay bills, rent, put food on my table. Others are not so lucky. Please consider contacting your local representative if you feel so compelled.

Our guide is passionate about getting people paddle boarding and having a good time adventuring our local rivers. He however only does this part-time in the warm months around other obligations. Typically, we offers lesson or tour time slots on certain days each week/month which we'll post on here and on social media. Private tour are based on schedule availability by requests - reach out if you're interested. If you have any questions want more information, or just want to say hello! Don't hesitate to reach out.
All tours or lessons must be booked in advance.
Thank you for understanding! Rest assured, our guide likely would rather be paddling than (mostly!) whatever else he is doing that's keeping him off the water. We're excited to paddle with you very soon, SUPs, up!
